Hypocrisy part 2

So, I've talked about hypocrisy in the most obvious form, that is an enemy that acts like a friend.
But what about the thing we call "basa basi" aka chit chat, is that a form of hypocrisy?

Well maybe not all chit chat is hypocrisy, most of them are just "being polite" and important to do, but some people actually make it a hypocrisy just because they show too many feelings in their chit chat while they actually don't have any feelings in their heart.

Example : When we eat, we should offer to someone who is not eating at the moment, that is being polite. But some people go further and do this : he/she is having a meal at home then a friend comes visiting, so he/she offer the friend to eat too, the friend refuses *of course*, but he/she insists until finally the friend accepts the offer. Does he/she really meant the offer? probably not, he/she probably just feel that it's awkward if he/she eats while the friend is just watching him/her. Hypocrisy? Yes, in my opinion.....

In my real life, I do find a "friend" who does that. So, she's not interested in giving me a lodge, but when I finally moved out she said things to show her "attention". Hey, I don't need that! If you're actually don't care then don't pretend! If you're really care, show it! don't just talk it!

I don't like people who say too many nice things to me, they have "sweet mouth" but you never really see them act nicely. That's a hypocrite!
